Something has been on my mind for quite some time. It's a thought experiment or rather a train of thought. Language plays a key part in this, and perhaps common sense. Here goes:
We is a redundant term. I is a selfish term. Society is a selfish, and perhaps excusatory term. Life is perhaps the only term that is original and forgiving. It really demands of the speaker or observer the correct and appropriate mindset which is a definitive term. As in, direct. It all boils down to definition and situation.
What I am getting at is simple. Being a fruitarian and frugivore technically can bring about the perception of separateness. The realization of aloneness. The self in its most primitive state. All animals hopefully should consume raw food. Raw as in, its natural state. It really places us on a natural path. A state that we've abided by for ages.
But now, some humans has placed it upon themselves to change their mode of being to cooked and processed foods. Processed, as in a state that the edible food is not naturally in. Cooked food, even in a natural form, like grilled meat could also be considered processed under this definition.
The observation calls for a resounding why on both fronts, but as I explained, raw unprocessed foods is by far the most consumed state of food on this planet by the majority of animals and even plants today. It is technically a natural diet as what a biosphere provides us organically. Yet why should one attain to such a state? Because some humans have left it behind, and it, a cooked and processed diet, clearly has devastating consequences on our health and the biosphere on Earth that sustains life, the miracle.
All sorts of excuses are made to consume cooked and processed foods such as; elegant, nutritious, safe, cost effective, important. Yet with this mindset one can also see the reverse. Those are just terms used to explain what reality can be in this context. But those same terms can be used to insult the dignity and moral values of these same people. For example the term safe. Even cooked and processed foods can be contaminated with viruses and bacteria dangerous to our health. Carcinogens is another example. Cholesterol is another one.
Someone once said that clearly what we're encouraged to eat is a cultural phenomenon, where scientists and teachers and doctors, who should know better, do the advertising for this giant corporate machine exploiting this biosphere that feeds and sustains us. Exploiting, as in all for the sake of profit. As in there's no factual reason that we need to drink soda-pop and suck on lollies and consume grilled chicken and smoke and drink alcohol for the sake of surviving! They treat their children with these unnatural creations constantly and they have their health in consideration? Strange.
We all die. That's a fact. We all get sick at some point. Hospitals don't only exist for fruitarians and frugivores and paleo diet centered people, even raw vegans. No, they exist for humans and non-humans alike. Lung cancer for example in the majority of cases directly relates to smoking. Heart attacks relate mostly to diet. Fatty greasy foods are on the menu for all of us where some people see it as a treat! But no, even doctors ask me where I get my protein on a fruitarian diet. Before that, on a vegan diet. How strange do people behave when it comes to the obvious!
So anyway, in short, be prepared to be isolated when one adopts a fruit diet. Remember it's healthier to be kind to this biosphere which sustains life. Eating fruits or flowers like figs is the most conscious way of being. It's harmless to the environment and it sustains all life. Whether one gets sick or injured is natural. We all die as well. Hospitals aren't only for those that live on a fruitarian diet. Doctors and scientists should know better. The hard reality faces all, even them. Also, take note how closed-minded open-minded people are.
