The beloved country. The isolation of citizenship. The rise of the cosmopolitan. The beginning of a new era. Making humans dependent. All said and done. I am alone and without purpose. The promise has been failed too many times. It is no turning back now. When we live we die. When we die there is?

The proclamation
Here I am, almost the end of April, yet with time flowing by real fast, I have to pull the brakes. I have to let go of the past habits which pushed me down and held me back, and instead hold onto new ones. It's been such a long time since I made my promise, and still up till this point I haven't met my goals.
So in this sense and to emphasize the proclamation, I will regularly post now, and also include a vlog about my eating habits and how it affects me.
Stay tuned! 😎

The present
It's so sad that I have lost focus on what I really believe. Maybe I have failed at my goal to be fruitarian, because I didn't see the urgency in it. The necessity. Maybe it's because I am afraid of the social consequences. Or the murmurs behind my back. It's so different from what we're used to. We have been brainwashed. Whether it's to enrich corporations or just plainly follow the herd is up for debate. I think the only resolution, for me, is to look into the future presently, and argue or envision what I want to be, who I want to be, and where I want to be. 😊

Food: the custom
One can easily assume that food in itself, no matter what the ingredients, is a natural thing. As in, the truth behind food lies in its state as being consumed or being a consumable. The truth though is, just because we can consume it doesn't mean we have to or want to. Food can actually be considered a habit, a custom, a necessity, an addiction.
Much of our society today lives and drives around consumption. We almost to a large extent live to consume. No matter what though, if our society changed its course to not do so, then only will we know what else life has to offer. To be at peace with few or nothing and to live in the present moment instead.
I think we are doing ourselves a disservice by being so dependent upon gluttony. We should celebrate life with only what we need.
Sad news
I've quit smoking today. Yet again. Now if only I can get back on the eden-fruitarian track. :-)
